Anniston, AL – Hamilton Park Welcomes New Additions Anniston Expands Recreational Spaces

In an incredible year of improvements to playgrounds that have been completed, Anniston’s City of Anniston is turning heads by making a dramatic improvement to the parks in its area. The latest improvements that are on display in Hamilton Park, are set to delight the residents just at the right time for the Christmas season, which is a time of play and joy for everyone.

The city’s Park and Recreation Department has been working tirelessly through 2023 to improve the enjoyment of the residents. The dedication to establishing lively, enjoyable places for families and friends has led to a string of noteworthy improvements in various parks.

The most important improvements in 2023:

1. Brand New Playground at the Youth Soccer Complex (745 Summerall Gate Rd) This is a new and innovative playground has been created to create a safe and safe space for the youngest soccer fans.

2. Brand-new Splash Pad located at the South Highland Center’s Nettles Park, Plus Playground upgrades (214 S. Christine Ave) A new splash pad as well as improvements in the park’s playground Nettles Park provide refreshing recreational alternatives.

3. New Splash Pad and Playground Upgraded at Zinn Park (101 W. 14th St): Zinn Park has upgraded splash pad and new playground equipment for children to take advantage of.

4. New Playground Equipment Upgraded to Carver Center Park (720 W. 14th St): Carver Center Park has received new and upgraded playground equipment that has enhanced the overall experience of playing.

5.Upgraded Playground & New Pickleball Courts at Hodges Community Center Hodges Community Center (3125 Spring Valley Rd): Hodges Community Center has been upgraded with new playground facilities, as well as the addition of brand new Pickleball courts.

6. Improved facilities at improvements to the Aquatic & Fitness Center Pool (130 Summerall Gate Rd) Its Aquatic & Fitness Center Pool was renovated to offer the best swimming experience.

7. Playground and park upgrades at Hamilton-Ballard park (700 Jefferson Ave): The spotlight is now on Hamilton-Ballard Park, which has received the most recent enhancements, resulting in an inviting environment for residents to enjoy.
