Anniston, AL –Congratulations to Anniston’s unique Community Development Department for winning the John A. Sasso Community Development Week Award at the 54th Annual National Community Development Association (NCDA) Conference.
In the early hours of April 2023, Anniston’s Community Development Department celebrated the positive impact that their programs have on Anniston. Anniston. From fixing homes, construction of new housing, to aiding in the creation of new public infrastructure, the city announced that they’ve learned so much about the amazing work of the Community Development team has accomplished across Anniston.
The Community Development Department is helmed by the Coordinator Alisa James, as well as the Programming Specialist Nikita Wood. We wish these fantastic public servants for their amazing achievement.
