Calhoun County in Alabama –RALLY WOMEN’S RIGHTS ARE BETTER THAN ROE We are putting all politicians on notice!
Calhoun County Democrats issue the following press release regarding their forthcoming non-partisan event.
We invite you to join us Sunday 22 January for a non-partisan rally in support of women’s rights. The Jim and Shirley Justice Center, 812 Noble Street Anniston, AL 36201 will host the rally. Calhoun County Democrats hosts this rally in conjunction with National Women’s March.
Participants will meet at 12:30 pm at 812 Noble Street. Dr. Martha Strange (Ret), a Neonatal Medicine Specialist in Birmingham will make brief remarks. Then, they’ll proceed to the Anniston Federal Courthouse at 1129 Noble Street.
After brief remarks, we’ll return to the Jim and Shirley Justice Center for snacks and conversation.
There are a limited number of hand-made signs available at HQ. Supplies are also available if you want to make your own. If you would like to make a sign, please come by at 1pm.
We have ‘BLING.’ It’s also free! A limited supply of green ‘Women’s Rights are Human Rights’ wristbands were left over from the previous rally. There are also several ‘green’ bandanas that represent ‘Women’s Rights’ and ‘And Women’s Rights are Greater Than Roe’ buttons. (Thank you Carsie!)
