OXFORD Jaylen Alexander scored five free throws in the fourth quarter and Oxford defeated Plainview in a 58-56 win on Thursday.
Alexander was a 17-point scorer.
Marcus Perry Jr. led the Yellow Jackets with 18 points and all of them in the opening half. He scored four 3-pointers.
T.J. Allen hit three treys on his way to scoring 11 points.
Oxford (3-1) is scheduled to take part in Oxford (3-1) will play in the Heritage Classic Thanksgiving tournament at Fairfield on Monday.
JACKSONVILLE JACKSONVILLE TALLADEGA 72: Devin Barksdale led Jacksonville with 20 points. Jaquan Ervin scored 18 points while Aaron Nixon 14. Sean Herbert scored 13 points in addition to 13 rebounds and three blocks.
The Golden Eagles overcame 7-for-24 free throwing with sixteen steals as well as a rebunding edge of 34-25.
Jacksonville will host Plainview this Tuesday.
White Plains 77 FAITH CHRISTIAN 54Josh Wheeler was the leader in balanced scoring at White Plains by scoring 13 points. The Wildcats made it 1-1.
Paul Laube added 11 points, Cam Almon 10, Daniel Williams nine and Dylan Barksdale eight.
Will Smith led Faith with 13 points. Carson Harris and Eli Robinson each scored 10 points.
White Plains will be hosting Weaver on Friday. Faith is host to Greene County on Monday.
WEAVER 64 ASHVILLE 56 Kaden Gooded had a game-high 20 points. Weaver beat Ashville 22-13 during the 4th quarter, gaining a lead.
KeShawn Allen scored 16 points, scoring the help of three 3-pointers from Weaver and D.J. Marbury scored 13 points.
Weaver will be performing in the stadium of White Plains on Friday.
JCA 70 ASD 30: Jesse Gannaway poured in 27 points in the Thunder defeated Alabama School for the Deaf in a 2-0 win. He also added three assists as well as three steals.
JCA’s Bryson Dowdey scored 17 points and seven steals and eight rebounds as well as Noah Lee grabbed 17 rebounds in addition to 13 points as well as two steals, and four assists.
The Thunder will be playing in Ragland the following Friday.
GASTON 61 OHATCHEE 46Colby Hester led Ohatchee in scoring with 16 points while Jake Roberson added 10 in the Indians playing their first game with new head coach Kyle Wilson.
Ohatchee will host Ashville on November. 27.
Munford 48 DONOHO 41Lathan Stephens was the leading scorer for Munford in scoring with 16 points and B.J. Anderson scored 12.

Ohatchee 25, Gaston 18.Ohatchee started the season without Jorda Crook and also with its the first-time head coach Aaron Jackson victorious.
Lindsey Zurchin hit three 3-pointers and led the Indians with nine points. Kiana Garber scored seven points.
Ohatchee will host Ashville on November. 27.
WEAVER 39 the ASHVILLE 36 A. Marks had 14 points and helped take the lead over Weaver and D.J. Gibbs stole a steal and free throw gave the final edge.
Weaver started the second period with a 7-0 run to start the second half.
The Bearcats will take on White Plains on Friday.
PLAINVIEW 64 38 OXFORD: Ava Thomas scored 12 points, and Xai Whitfield scored 11, but they were able to overcome an impressive night by Plainview’s Lauren Jimmerson, who scored 28 points and hit eight 3-pointers.
Oxford (1-1) plays at home to Auburn the following Tuesday.
White Plains 62, FAITH Christian 41 Cooper Martin hit seven 3-pointers to score a game-high 27 points as White Plains got its first victory under head coach for the first time in its history Clay Sprayberry.
Martin scored four threes in the 14-point second quarter.
Abbie Dickeson scored thirteen points to the Wildcats (1-1).
Ally Folsom paced Faith Christian with 13 points. Kayson Cronan tallied nine.
White Plains will play host to Weaver on Friday, while Faith Christian will play host to Randolph County on Monday.
JCA 54 ASD 20: Abigaila McNeal scored a team-high 16 points. Katie Beth Hudson grabbed 15 rebound to go along with a total of 10 points and three thefts in the Thunder beat the Alabama School for the Deaf to move to 2-0.
JCA also scored 15 points, 8 assists, and five rebounds from Addy Lee.
The Thunder will be playing on Friday at Ragland the following Friday.
TALLADEGA 64, JACKSONVILLE 40:Jacksonville’s Alexis Phillips scored 23 points however, Talladega beat Jacksonville 40 to 29. Jacksonville 64 (29-for-45) percent to 25 percent (8-for-31) and possessed an advantage in rebounding of 29-15.
Jacksonville will host Plainview the following Tuesday.
