Both parties are aiming to give prospective candidates with the opportunity to be part of democracy.
Calhoun County Republican Party
It is expected that the Calhoun County Republican Party will begin preparing for County Candidates on October 16 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the Saks Community Center, located at 20 Hess Drive, Anniston, AL 36206. The open positions for elected officials comprise Calhoun County School Board and Probate Judge.
Anyone who is who wish to run for these positions need to submit the required documents and pay a fee that qualifies as 2 percent of the annual pay for the position they wish to be considered for. Calhoun County Democrat Party
Democrat The process for qualifying for Calhoun County Offices for the 2024 elections started on the 4th of October, 2023 starting at 10:00 a.m. The offices on the ballot are Circuit Clerk Circuit Judge Probate Judge as well as Calhoun County School Board.
