Calhoun County, AL – Prince and Brooks are leading the way while Oxford wins trimatch sweep at Munford. Lions were split. Saks Ogle wins returning to the coaching profession.
Munford Oxford took a 3-0 lead in a triatch on the field at Munford the previous Monday defeating White Plains 25-19 25, 12 and Munford 25-20,25-20. Munford defeated White Plains 25-22 28-26 in a second match.

SAKS SWEEPSMichelle Ogle is back her first coaching position in the last three years, and Saks the team’s volleyball gave her two wins on Monday. The Wildcats defeated Ragland 25-22, 16-25, 15-7, and Gaston 19-25, 25-17, 15-13 at Gaston.
Ogle did not have any statistics immediately, however he credited the senior Camrie Denhem Dakari Jones and A.J. Twymon as the leaders.
Ogle is also the coach for Saks Softball in the spring. She was previously the coach of Saks girls and softball basketball teams. Her team winning Calhoun County basketball titles in both 2010 and 2016 as well as the county softball championship in 2013, prior to her time absent from games.
“I faced some life challenges that forced me out of coaching however, I am happy to be back in coaching,” she said. “It’s all within my veins. It’s something I am passionate about.
“We are really blessed with a young and athletic group of children who are coming through Saks and I believe with the right factors in place, they will be a thing to watch next year!”
