Anniston, AL –Per the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) on the 21st of June 2023, a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of an highway exit within Coldwater, Alabama, resulted in the loss of a life. ALEA said the time was 3:19 a.m. which resulted in deaths of Davis M. Turner, who was 20 years old. Anniston resident. In the official statement of ALEA as well as the Calhoun Coroner the deceased was a victim of an accident that involved two vehicles near the exit 179 of I-20 in Coldwater after the vehicle the driver was driving failed to stop at the stop sign. The deceased then got out of the car and was struck by the third vehicle. ALEA continues to look into the incident.
