Oxford (AL) –Christmas with Frisson will be held at the Oxford Performing Arts Center on Thursday, December 1, at 7:00 PM. Frisson includes many of the most prominent classical musicians today. The group performed more than 25 concerts across the United States last season, including in New York City, Los Angeles and at the Bermuda Festival. They are often called “the world’s smallest orchestra.” Many of these musicians are recent graduates of Yale School of Music and Juilliard School. They will be performing a variety of holiday music, including the Adagio From Winter from the Four Seasons, Vivaldi’s Brandenburg Concerto No. They will perform some fun encores, as well as jazzy Christmas tunes for winds and their own version the Nutcracker Suite.
