City Anniston Anniston is preparing to host a fiery event when they announce the Carver Center announces its 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off scheduled for Saturday 20th January, 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. The spiciest event of the season will be held at 7720 W. 14th Street, promises a day filled with delicious food, laughter and a sense of community.
The participants are invited to indulge their palates during an intense competition that will show off the culinary skills of chili lovers from the area. At just $2 for a sampling cup, participants will be able to taste the distinctive flavors of the chilis of each contestant, or choose a more substantial portion that comes with a larger bowl for only $5.
The Carver Center, a hub for community involvement and activities is inviting visitors and residents alike to take part in the celebrations.
