Jacksonville, AL –In the spirit of Christmas kindness, Cuts N Curls Salon in Jacksonville is once more directing its annual “Adopt an Grandparent” initiative that brings happiness to elderly residents of the local nursing home. The salon is currently looking for donations from the public to make this season memorable for people who do not have relatives or guests.

Over the last several years Cuts N Curls Salon has partnered with the Jacksonville nursing home, delivering the numbers and names of people who may need more love during the holiday season. Residents who may not normally receive gifts or companionship during Christmas.
“The public response has always been great throughout the years, and patients are always so grateful and thrilled,” says Cyndi Jamerson who is the main of this initiative.
In order to participate, the community can opt to adopt a person from the list provided. Each number is an individual’s name on the roster of nursing homes. For those who would prefer to donate without adopting an individual can drop off their items directly at the salon. Cuts N Curls Salon will create customized gift bags for every resident, which will include items from their wishlist and snacks like crackers, cookies, drinks and much many more.
People interested in adopting residents are able to contact the salon via private message to make sure that the preferred person is still available. The deadline for donations drop-offs is the 1st of December. Also cash App option is offered to those who would like to contribute in cash, which allows the salon to purchase any items required prior to the date of delivery.
Cuts N Curls Salon is conveniently situated on the same lot that is Jefferson’s located at the far edge of the old mall that is in Jacksonville.
“We’re thankful for the community’s help and believe that the coming year is going to be memorable for our inhabitants,” expresses Cyndi Jamerson. As the Christmas season is near we should all join forces to make a positive difference in people’s lives who could benefit from more warm and tenderness.
