Anniston, AL – Burgess father-son team is bogey-free to win the Parent-Child Golf Tournament in Anniston, AL at Anniston Country Club. The tournament includes scores from Sunday’s final round.

Garrett Burgess and Garrett Burgess Jr. shot 58-62 and 120 over two days to take home at the Anniston Country Club Parent-Child Tournament.

The pair was bogey free The younger Burgess scoring 7 birdies and two eagles. His dad added nine birdies.

They took the win by nine strokes, beating Freeman-BodieFITE Gary-Chandler Williams. The other three teams shot 32.

“‘Little G’ did most of the legwork,” the elder Burgess told her. “He has certainly made a huge leap within an entire year. It’s pretty enjoyable to see him grow. It’s awesome to keep doing this for many decades to come certainly.”
