Gadsden, AL –The Gadsden Police Department is investigating several vandalism incidents and would like the public’s assistance in identifying suspects. Between the 15th of April on April 2023 and Saturday 22nd April 2023, graffiti had been applied to areas that comprise Noccalula Falls Park. Investigators have discovered several drawings and writings were discovered in the park.

City officials are proud of Noccalula Falls park, since it has provided tourism and leisure to residents of Alabama from the 50s onward. To maintain the beauty of the park officials are requesting anyone who has information about the recent vandalisms to submit information. The city takes vandalism serious, and Noccalula Falls Park was placed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage in 1976. Currently, the city is working hard to protect the park’s beauty to preserve its rich history.

The city of Gadsden is standing up against vandalism and has offered the $1,000.00 in cash for any information leading to the identification and detention for the perpetrators.
