Oxford’s Jaylen Alexander surpassed a record-setting career day on Monday.
The junior point guard had 23 points during the Yellow Jackets’ 55-49 loss to Shiloh (Ga.) at Carrollton (Ga.) high School reaching the record 1,000-point mark.
Alexander has scored 14 out of Oxford’s fourth quarter points in the fourth quarter. He made 11 of 15 free-throws on the day.
