Ogle returned to his original position and began the process of reopening his recruitment. This journey concluded on Wednesday, the day before the early signing period. Ogle made a deal with Louisiana-Monroe.

“I called him and we spoke for a about it, and we ready to make an official trip to the area over the weekend,” Ogle said. “I was in love with the area and then that friendship got back to Coach Vincent and that was the end of it.”
Ogle said that the two-week period in between obligations “lots of pressure.”
“Just not realizing that it was coming nearer to the day of signing,” Ogle said. “God’s had a plan in place for everyone and everything was done as it was supposed to and I’m eager to head out and start working.”

“I always make an effort to go to one of the youth-league games in the area, and I think he was probably in 5th grade.” Edwards said. “I went to one as well … He was throwing an unintentional ball. It was like’He throws better balls than any other quarterback currently on our varsity team.
“I returned to my home and informed my wife that there’s an infant, and I’m sure he’s going for something very, really unique.”
