Birmingham, AL – In a touching tribute to teachers, Jack’s Family Restaurants (Jack’s) is a well-loved Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) located in Birmingham with more than the 240 locations spread across Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi and Georgia, has launched an innovative giveaway for classrooms in celebration of World Teachers’ Day. The campaign encourages schools within 25 miles of an establishment of Jack’s to display their appreciation for teachers by posting entertaining TikTok videos. They also have the opportunity to be the winner of a class event, hosted by Jack’s.
From October 5th to the 5th of October, schools across the country are encouraged to express their creativity and pay tribute to their teachers with their own unique style, as well as using the classic Jack’s Jingle in the TikTok videos. To enter the contest, students and teachers must post their videos on a public TikTok account, ensuring they tag @jacksfamilyrestaurants.
The main draw of this contest is the opportunity for a lucky classroom to attend a Jack’s-catered celebration with up to 25 students. Winners will be chosen via the TikTok video that receives the most likes from online community.
Jack’s CMO, Billie Jo Waara spoke about her feelings on the initiative with a heartfelt message by saying, “In the South, often, we show our gratitude by eating food. Teachers are a huge part of our communities and we’d like to take advantage of the coming celebration day to express our gratitude with a southern-inspired, home-cooked meal to acknowledge their contributions to shaping the future of our children.”
