Calhoun County, AL Every week, every week the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office releases their latest “Most wanted” list. This week’s list follows identical to last week, according to the Sheriff’s Office. A “FTA” signifies that the person did not attend a court date but does not necessarily mean that they are that they are guilty of a crime. A “Probation violation” is when a person is charged with a crime and is ordered to be on probation justices. “SORNA” refers to the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone not to make any decisions independently, but instead call authorities such as the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department to inquire further. There are occasions when warrants can be cancelled and the individual is not wanted anymore.
