Birmingham, AL – The idea of spending the holiday season in a hospital difficult for everyone but it’s especially difficult for children. This year, you can make this Halloween memorable for the children of Children’s of Alabama by sending them a thoughtful gift card.

The campaign runs until October 30th 2023, this heart-warming initiative allows you to deliver free Halloween-themed greeting cards to children in hospitals. To participate, simply visit www.give.childrensal.org/Halloween, where you can select one of three delightful card designs. Staff at the hospital will take charge for the distribution and printing of the cards, ensuring that they reach young patients on Tuesday, October 31.

The initiative is supported by Protective Life Corporation. Protective Life Corporation, which has been a sponsor of Halloween activities in the Children’s of Alabama for the last nine years. The drive for cards provides the chance for people from the community to gather and make smiles on children’s faces during an era when hospital visits is not as frequent.

It’s important to remember that, although the hospital is grateful for the gestures of kindness but they are not able to accept donations in person such as food/candy, toys and toys that portray violence, religious objects or crocheted items or even homemade items for the patients.
