Jacksonville, AL –The JSU press department announced the news that JSU Dining is prepared to deliver another decade of great food on the friendliest campus located in the South. From vegetarian and cheeseburger tenders, to gourmet cakes and delicious smoothies – there’s something for all appetites. Two new dining places have been added this fall: the Merrill Cafe and South Campus Cafe. Both will be featuring Boar’s head Deli We Proudly Serve Starbucks and Simply to Go. Simply to Go will also be located in The Houston Cole Cafe. Returning this year are Jack Hopper Dining Hall, WOW, Chick-fil A, Mein Bowl, Freshens and We Proudly Serve Starbucks at the Houston Cole Cafe. Cocky’s Kitchen is also back for its second year serving up Mr. Beast Burger, Pardon My Cheesesteak Mariah’s Cookies along with Buddy V’s Cake Slice. It is located behind Stephenson Hall near JSU Stadium Cocky’s Kitchen has been able to provide walk-up ordering as well as Kiwibot delivery and takeout using the app Everyday. Dex the Kiwibot and his gang have had a great time during their summer break, but they will return to service this year with brand new and better hours: Monday to Thursday 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Delivery is offered through Kiwibot via the Everyday app of Wow, Mein Bowl, Freshens We Proudly Serve Starbucks and Mr. Beast Burger, Pardon My Cheesesteak Mariah’s Cookies and Buddy V’s Cake Slice. Gamecock football fans will be able to enjoy news concessions on the concourses at JSU Stadium this fall, including cheeseburgers, chili dogs and cotton candy, as well as gourmet popcorn, and other. Local food trucks will be available at home matches. Be aware the Jax State Concessions are going to go cashless starting in the season. Payment options for concessions as well as food trucks will be credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. JSU Dining is inviting faculty, students as well as staff members to begin the new semester by attending the Retro Remix Welcome Back event on August. 23 from 7 – p.m. The event will take place at Jack Hopper Dining Hall. Dress up in your most beloved 1970s styles and enjoy some retro cuisine from the grooviest decade.
