Calhoun County, AL Every week, each week, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office released their latest “Most wanted” list. A “FTA” signifies that a person has failed to show up for a court appearance and doesn’t necessarily mean that they are guilty of a criminal conviction. A “Probation violation” is when a person was accused of a crime and is put on probation justices. “SORNA” is the acronym for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone not to make any decisions by themselves, but to call with the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department to inquire further. There are occasions when warrants may be removed and the suspect has been removed from the wanted list.
