Oxford, AL – BR Williams Trucking, Inc. is a proud member of the Oxford community since its inception on the scene in 1958, invites Oxford residents to share in the celebrations at their next event, a joyful celebration with an official light-up ceremony of “Merry Mack.” The celebrations will be held on the BR Williams Shop located at 2320 Hwy 21 South, Oxford, Alabama, on Tuesday 5th December, beginning at 6:30 at 6:00 pm.
“Merry Mack” the vintage 1963 Mack B61, holds a prominent place in the history of BR Williams Trucking as one of their very first trucks. Through the month of December, this well-known car will be decked out in Christmas lights and will serve as a bright lighthouse of Christmas cheer to the entire community.
The event will offer a range of fun activities for guests of all different ages. Families are encouraged to capture the joy of the season by snapping pictures of Santa as well as Buddy the Elf. The event will provide lasting memories with the stunning backdrop of the lit “Merry Mack.” The setting is cozy and warm with fire pits that will keep everyone warm, and Treasury Coffee & Cafe will be there with delicious sweets to purchase.
The event is free and an expression of gratitude of BR Williams Trucking to the Oxford community for their continuous support throughout the past 65 years. It has celebrated its 65th anniversary throughout the year, and this special celebration is the culmination of appreciation.
