Viera, FL – Schorman and Mancha pair up to produce a two hits as do Heath and Gonzales each hit three times as the Smash It Sports Vipers break a seven-game skid, securing the 6-0 win

Meghan Schorman, Gianna Mancha teamed up to pitch three hits, a double-hitter and games of Karly Heath as well as Chelsea Gonzales lead the offensive attack of Oxford’s Smash It Sports Vipers defeated USSSA Pride 6-0. USSSA Pride 6-0 in the final game of three games.

The Vipers (8-25) ended the streak of seven consecutive losses ahead of the final regular season game, a set of three games against The Pride (17-15) in Oxford, at home on Saturday. Oxford hosts this year’s Women’s Professional Fastpitch semifinals and finals on Aug. 9-14.

Schorman pitched the first and pitched five innings, giving up two hits and striking out along with three walked. Mancha delivered two perfectly pitched innings.

Heath and Gonzales both went 3-for-4. Heath had two RBI and Gonzales scored an RBI and scored a run.

Jenna Kean went 2-for-3, and the Vipers had an RBI three times by Makena Smith Suzy Brookshire Alissa Dalton, and Kelsey Bennett.
