Piedmont (AL) – The Piedmont Police Department was contacted by a caller regarding a possible home invasion. Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with Trevor Floyd Breed (32), of Piedmont. He stated that he had been stabbed. Officers were initially informed that an individual had tried to enter the residence and stabbed Breed in an altercation.

Officers continued to collect information and discovered that the truth was quite different from the original story. Breed entered the residence and started fighting with the female resident. She claims that Breed attacked the victim, grabbed her throat and tried to choke her. Breed was stabbed during the altercation. He then released her and called 911 to report that he was a home invader.

Nathan Johnson, Piedmont Police Chief, stated that Breed’s injuries were not life-threatening. He refused to be taken to the hospital. Bond – $30.000 and Falsely Reporting an Incident

The domestic victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her injuries weren’t life-threatening.
