Anniston, AL –The Anniston Museums and Gardens are hosting two flag-related activities scheduled for the 14th of June, Wednesday.

1 2:45 12:30 pm – Lunch and Learn: Flag Day – Flags have been a symbol of various things to a variety of people throughout the ages and continue to be a symbol of freedom and justice. Bring your lunch and visit at the Berman Museum during Flag Day to explore the ways that flags have been used throughout time. Explore and learn about the different U.S. flags and the significance behind their colors and other symbols. This program is targeted at students in high school and beyond However, all are welcomed. This program is part of admission to the venue and is complimentary for members.

12:30 pm – Design the Your Own Flag – Flags are visual representations of something, a country or a state, company – even you! What should your flag appear like? What does it say about you? Be part of AM&G Education’s AM&G Education team and create your unique flag that represents you. The program is included in admission, and is free for members.
