Anniston, AL –In the center of Anniston, Cornerstone Church is yet again spreading holiday cheer by hosting its second annually held “Buy A Tree. Change A Life.” event. This local effort, which is that is part of a larger group that not only brings holiday happiness to the community, but also supports an important cause. The sale for the Christmas tree available every day from 10 am until 8:00 pm, under the tent located at 2885 Choccolocco Road, Anniston, AL 36307 promises to be a touching experience for everyone who takes part. Cornerstone Church welcomes everyone to join in this uplifting event.
“Buy A Tree. Make a Difference in A Life.” is an 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2012 with the aim of having a positive effect on children’s lives, locally and internationally. Anniston is proud to join the ranks of 68 locations across 21 states, demonstrating the broad support of this important initiative.
The core of the initiative is in its annual Christmas tree sales that provides the entire funds directly benefit children by partnering with organizations such as People for Care and Learning and other local community-based initiatives. Since its beginning the year 2012, the initiative has raised $7,847.104 and has funded programs that address essential needs like education as well as healthcare and overall wellbeing.
Under the tent of Cornerstone Church, families and individuals are invited to pick and purchase gorgeously decorated Christmas trees. Beyond the happiness these trees bring to families, each purchase helps to create a community which offers compassion and help to those in need.
