Faith Christian’s boys as well as Donoho’s girls took home the Red Wilder Invitational, the official Calhoun County championship in tennis, on the weekend in Oxford Lake Park. Donoho’s girls won the courts for doubles and singles while Faith’s boys took home the singles courts of four out of six and two doubles courts. In the case of Faith, Eli Mitchell won his second Red Wilder No. 1 singles title in just three years. He as well as Josh Goode won No. 1-doubles in the second consecutive year. Doho’s Claire Hillman, a senior has was awarded the fifth time she has won No. #1 singles championship in the span of five years. They and Lily Grace Draper teamed for their second consecutive No. 1 doubles title. Donoho’s girls took home the eighth time in a row to win the Red Wilder title.
