“One of our coaches told us”This is the very first game of the season”” Cofer said.
The Bearcats scored 579 yards of total offense. They also beat The Raiders 47-0 in a non-regional match between Calhoun County schools.
Pleasant Valley (5-5) clinched its place at the top of Class 2A playoffs before the game on Thursday. The team will face Pisgah on November. 10. The Raiders will play in playoffs for the first time since 2010, after matching their most wins total since they went 6-5 in 2008.

Junior KeShawn Allen scored on an 80-yard touchdown run. He also was able to catch a 45-yard touchdown pass to Kaden Gooden. Gooden also scored two times.
Christian Marturello and Damarion Welch each scored a touchdown and Weaver kept Pleasant Valley to 116 yards.
Both teams share a larger picture. Pleasant Valley, eyeing a playoff spot, pulled players during the second quarter after being down 25-0 at the half.
Weaver received a favourable sendoff to start the season off.
“We had the chance to win 8-2” Cofer said. “We were playing in those tight ball games, but we couldn’t. I’m sure we’ll learn from these mistakes, but it was an excellent opportunity to conclude the season. I’m pleased to finish on an edgy note.”
The story is scheduled to be up-to-date.
