Anniston, AL – As per the Anniston Police Department on July 3, 2023 around 10:15 pm, Anniston Police Department Patrol officers responded reports of a victim shot located in 2300 Block Adams St. When they arrived, officers found 39-year old male of white Jonathan Walter Golson deceased from numerous shooting injuries. In the course of their investigation, Weaver Patrol officers made contact with a potential suspect. After a long-running examination, Anniston Police investigators developed probable grounds to charge 34-year-old woman of white ethnicity Misty Lashea Hardy of Weaver with the murder of Golson. Hardy was in the Calhoun County Jail. Hardy was booked into the Calhoun County Jail. Anniston Police Department thanked the Weaver Police Department for their assistance in this particular case.
