Calhoun County, AL Every week, every week the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office releases their latest “Most wanted” list. This week’s list is identical to last week, according to the Sheriff’s Office. A “FTA” indicates that a person has failed to show up for a court appearance and doesn’t necessarily mean guilty of a criminal conviction. A “Probation violation” is when a person is charged with a crime and put on probation justices. “SORNA” is the acronym for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone not to do anything independently, but instead call with the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department to inquire further. There are occasions when warrants can be cancelled and the suspect has been removed from the wanted list.
