Calhoun County, AL Each week, each week, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office released their latest “Most wanted” list. A “FTA” indicates that a person has failed to show up for a court appearance but does not necessarily mean that they are that they are guilty of a crime. A “Probation violation” signifies that the person was charged with a crime and put on probation justices. “SORNA” is the acronym for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone not to make any decisions by themselves, but to call authorities such as the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department to inquire further. There are occasions when warrants can be cancelled and the individual is not wanted anymore.
