Calhoun County, AL Every week, each week, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office released their latest “Most wanted” list. A “FTA” indicates that the person did not show up for a court appearance and doesn’t necessarily mean that they are that they are guilty of a crime. A “Probation violation” is when a person was charged with a crime and ordered to be placed under probation justices. “SORNA” is the acronym for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone not to do anything independently, but instead call authorities such as the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department for them to look into the matter further. Sometimes, warrants may be removed and the individual is not wanted anymore.
