Jacksonville, AL – A single vehicle crash that occurred around 4.45 a.m. the morning of Monday on November 6, been a source of grief for the residents of Jacksonville in mourning, as it took the life of 21-year old Logan E. Grabau. The accident took place on Alabama 202, which is just one mile to the west of Anniston close to the 6-mile line within Calhoun County.
According to the reports at the incident, Grabau was a pedestrian strolling along Alabama the 202, when tragedy occurred. He was hit in 2007 by the Ford Expedition driven by 53-year-old Carlos Ivey, hailing from Heflin. The crash was fatal for Grabau who was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
The specific circumstances leading up to the incident are still under investigation by troopers from ALLEA’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division. At present the details of the incident have not been released to the general public.
