Anniston AL Anniston, Alabama – On the 21st of September, 2022, Deangelo “Dee” Allen was last observed in the area of The 1000 Block of Old Coldwater Rd. in Anniston. Anniston. Anniston Police Department has been active in investigating the disappearance that has since turned into suspect involvement in foul play. Anniston Police Chief Nick Bowles, said that investigators from Anniston PD and The 7th Judicial Major Crimes Unit as well as the U.S Marshall’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force have been able to gather evidence that led to the murder charge against Keither Snider (Smith), 50 from Anniston as well as Gavin Snider, 25, of Anniston. Anniston Police Department Anniston Police Department learned that Gavin Snider, 25, of Anniston, was arrested after Keither Snider discovered that she was wanted and became increasingly difficult to find.
5 May 2023 Keither Snider was located in West Anniston by Investigators and was taken into custody without incident. Chief Bowles further explained the fact that Gavin Snider was already in custody on unrelated charges in the Calhoun County Jail. Both are being charged with Murder and a bond of no bail is released until an Aniah’s Law hearing is scheduled in the justice system.
Chief Bowles expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of the local and federal authorities which came together to get justice for the victim, Mr. Allen.
