Calhoun County, AL Every week, each week, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office released their latest “Most wanted” list. A “FTA” signifies that a person has failed to attend a court hearing and doesn’t necessarily mean that they are guilty of a crime. A “Probation violation” is when a person is charged with a crime and is put on probation justices. “SORNA” is the acronym for Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone not to do anything independently, but instead call authorities such as the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department to inquire further. Sometimes, warrants can be cancelled and the individual is not wanted anymore.
