The Alaska State Troopers have detained two suspects accused of killing an elderly person in an area known as the Southeast Alaska community of Klawock .
An assault report initially brought police and emergency medical personnel to the home of a woman aged 80, Lincoln Peratrovich in Klawock early on Tuesday morning, in accordance with an internet announcement. However, Peratrovich died on the spot.
The Alaska Bureau of Investigation is responsible for the investigation with assistance from Craig as well as Ketchikan troopers, as well as local village public safety officials.
The bureau reports that two Klawock men are currently detained within the Craig Police Department’s prison – aged 22 Moses Blanchard and 21-year-old Blaise Dilts.
According to investigators, the two suspects physically attacked Peratrovich which led to Peratrovich’s death.
Blanchard and Dilts are both accused of second degree murder, manslaughter, and burglary.
