In this Episode of Culture Rich Conversations from Juneau’s Black Awareness Association, they begin season four with an honest and candid discussion on Juneteenth and the Fourth of July! The host Christina Michelle and her guests discuss the Black life experience and the decision to observe both of these very American holidays.

The present day, Christina Michelle and her guests discuss what it is like and how it feels to be a part of the celebrations of Juneteenth and Fourth of July, while also being an integral part within the Black community. From the past of Juneteenth and the 4th July, and what they mean in the Black community of today, Christina Michelle and her guests share their personal experiences and thoughts on both.
