- The artists include Viktor Bell, Dave Hunsaker, Marian Call, Melanie Brown, Darius Mannino, Roblin Davis and dancers from Juneau Dance Theatre.
- 350Juneau is creating an inclusive, local grassroots movement to address fundamental issues that cause climate disruption with justice-based strategies. They are working to bring about systemic change and hold officials accountable to climate science as well as social justice. They operate at the state, local as well as national levels, through education, advocacy for public policy and empowering citizens to take imaginative and effective actions. www.350juneau.org.

Juneau Live! Studio August Showrunner Camp (tuition-free)
- It is a Showrunner Camp is a one-week intensive course in production for television for high school and middle school students. The participants (“crew”) are taught the necessary skills to broadcast live a two-hour concert in front of an audience of a studio. In the course of five days, the crew receives training by industry experts and demonstrates the skills they learn in a studio for TV, which includes broadcasting live and public every day. The crew members form their own production companies that at the end of the week, they are able to produce on their own (with an on-screen credit) one episode from Juneau Live! Studio’s Alaska Music One Presents with local bands, in the studio in front of an audience.

First Friday, with Juneau Artists Gallery – Liyuan Zhang
- Liyuan Zhang (aka Sunny) is the featured artist for July at Juneau Artists Gallery. A graphic artist trained from California, Sunny has been making use of her education in art and her natural talents to create original works. Her artwork includes acrylics, pastels, and a technique for wood burning called Pyrography.
- Meet Sunny at the Juneau Artist Gallery First Friday event on August 4th, from 4 pm to 8 at night. It is located at the bottom of the Senate Building 175 South Franklin Street.

Juneau Nordic Ski Club
- The Juneau Nordic Ski Club is already anticipating the winter’s ski season. It is currently in the middle of wrapping up their summer season by expanding the number of grooming equipment, aiming to groom more kilometers of trails than ever before. The next stage in the larger plan to expand the ski trails network beginning in Juneau.
