The Juneau school will remain closed on Tuesday following the accumulation of more than 20 inches dropped during the weekend of the holiday.
RALLY and activities after school will also be cancelled, and there is no remote learning.
The school board’s meeting regarding the budget of the district will be held via Zoom only, and will begin at 6 p.m.
Many municipal offices and facilities including City Hall, will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Dimond Park Aquatic Center will begin on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. and Treadwell Arena will be open in 12:15 p.m.
The Department of Parks and Recreation’s youth basketball practice is cancelled.
Capital Transit buses are running on winter routes until Tuesday morning. The city anticipates returning back to regular operation on Tuesday.
