The brothers had to contend with difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions but they persevered and took the victory at home in Nome. They said they relied on one another most of all in the race.

“I believe that with any other partner, we wouldn’t have done the same way, so I’m happy we got one another,” Oliver said.

“If I had not had my brother to play with We probably would not have been able to win,” Wilson said.

The teams were allowed to use the items they were able to carry, and made use of their wilderness skills to get through every race.

With the money they have won, the pair have stated that they intend to contribute to Nome community. They also expressed their gratitude to family members and friends after the show’s airing.
