WATCH: Alaska’s ranked choice vote count begins at 4 p.m.

Wednesday is the day Alaskans are waiting for: ranked choice voting tabulation at the Alaska Division of Elections headquarters will be held in Juneau

We will learn about the results of the Alaska governor race, the U.S. House and Senate elections, and many state legislative races. The results will be live broadcast on and KTOO 360TV at 4 pm.

This should happen quickly. This is the second time that ranked choice results were tabulated. The first was in August for primary election. The U.S. Senate, House, and Governor races will be the first to be counted on Wednesday. If necessary, he’ll receive more votes than the first choice. Next, there will be the state legislative races where no winner has been determined yet. This is roughly 25% of them.

The updated statewide race results can be found here . At 6 p.m., Alaska Public Media will broadcast live coverage and analysis of the ranked choices results.
