Phoenix conducts a sweep of homeless encampments under Federal Scrutiny

On Friday morning, city workers, police officers, and garbage trucks arrived on Madison Street downtown. Several people who were living in tents along the block were informed that they must temporarily leave. The city conducted the sweep at the Zone homeless encampment for the first time in several months.
