The issue with bifold doors lies in the fact that just three corners of the door are secured with hardware and even though the door is required to move along a track, you need to pull outwards to get the door moving. This causes stress on the guiderail and leaves the bottom corner of the door susceptible to abuse, and ultimately out of the proper alignment.
