Redwood Materials was granted a tax exemption of $105.6 million by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development to help it expand its large-scale battery materials plant in Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center.
The plant, formerly owned by Peter Pan Seafood Company, is the economic engine for the Alaska Peninsula community.
