Your association must have mailed you a courtesy or warning letter informing you of the violation. Before imposing the fine the association must have provided you with an opportunity to hear. You have the option of appealing the decision. The association should be able to ask to reduce the penalty. The community administrator should be contacted to inquire the reason you were fined, without hearing.
