AB355 will increase the legal age to “possess or have control of” semiautomatic shotguns or semiautomatic centerfire rifle between 18 and 21, which is the legal age to possess or control a semiautomatic shotgun. The law would also make it illegal for anyone to aid anyone younger than 21 gain access to these types of firearms.
